Pulp, Paper and Saw Mills
Pulp, paper and saw mills have several process areas such as pulp dryer (pulp), wet end (paper) and drying areas (saw) where electric motors are operating at humid conditions leading to regular electric motor failures.
Many industrial facilities have pumping stations which can be located underground, inside a humid cave or even outside. Often these pumps are driven by electric motors that are laborious to replace and their availability is very important for the production process.
Concentrator plants and Conveyors
Many process facilities such as rolling mills and concentrator plants have humid process areas with several hundreds or thousands electric motors. Many conveyors are also operating outside on irregular basis and their electric motors are prone to humidity and rapid temperature changes.
